The white kids always got to do it,
Pack their bags and their wallet and take chances and live
With just some...abandon, some joy I don’t always grab a piece of
[not my] cake
I want to pop up somewhere with minimal materials,
to live somewhere with people, and make big memories
Cleave from the ready made friendships of my sisters and make a way for myself
I did it once, as a collegiate young adult
Had a new place no car little money and I made it
I became a person all on my own
I can- can I- do it again?
Move.
Put up roots. put down. roots
Establish myself.
I’d like to live
while I am young enough to do so loudly.
